Barrows guide & Beginner moneymaking

Barrows minigame is well not really a minigame, but it's a great way for new players to obtain mid-tier gear such as dharoks by killing monsters within the minigame location

Requirements :

Preferably 43 prayer (to protect from melee/range/magic) & base stats of 70

A decent weapon such as dragon scimitar, dragon dagger for special attacks and prayer potions/food.

Note :

  • You can kill barrows brothers with every combat style, just make sure you deal enough damage, otherwise it's not really worth it.
  • Players don't need to take spade to do the minigame
  • Highly recommend weapon with fair special attack such as dragon dagger
  • Don't forget to take stat boosting potions such as super attack/defence/strength or even overload if you have
  • You can right click on monster -> examine and it opens interface of monster's information E.G -

How to get to barrows :

1. Simply type [::barrows] command in the chat and that will teleport you to the barrows minigame.

2. Click on teleport button near minimap (that will open teleports interface) -> select minigame section-> barrows

Drops :

Players can obtain not just barrows items pieces but barrows gloves which are probably the best gloves in the game as they are not lost on death and has insane stats for the effort to get them.

Amulet of the damned - amulet which enhances the barrows set

Some sets which I recommend using it with :

  • Dharoks - Players wearing Dharok's set will have a 25% chance of recoiling 15% of the damage taken
  • Karils - Players wearing Karil's set will have a 25% chance of dealing two hitsplats. The second hitsplat will deal half the damage of the first hitsplat
  • Ahrims - Players wearing Ahrim's set will be able to autocast Ancient Magicks. In addition players will have a 25% chance of dealing a hit with 30% increased damage

Here's an example of dharok's drop table :

Barrows sets effects :

Attacks do more damage as the player's Hitpoints decrease. To be exact, 1% damage for every 1% HP lost. Dharok's maximum potential is unleashed at 99 HP and 99 Strength whereof a player can deal up to 98.9% extra damage when at 1 health point.

Successful melee attacks have a 25% chance of lowering the victim's run energy by 20%.

Attacks have a 25% chance of replenishing the player's health equal to the damage dealt.

Attacks have a 25% chance of ignoring any armour, Defence, and protection prayers.

Successful ranged attacks have a 25% chance of lowering the enemy's Agility level by 20%.

Successful magical attacks have a 25% chance of lowering the enemy's Strength by 5 levels.

Hope this helps! See you at barrows!
